FASCICLE

I thought I was going to have some surprises for you today. I don’t have any book news because I’m still waiting on two responses from possible contributors who will remain anonymous until I find out one way or another. The first comic hasn’t been completed, either, so there won’t be anything funny for you to read today. Sadly, I’m not a very funny person. At all.

Last night I tried to fall asleep early but I ended up watching Dig!, which was alright I guess. I wasn’t really looking to be awed, since I barely had any sleep the night before last. It was a good, mindless documentary. It was a quaint little reminder of the time I saw the Dandy Warhols in 1997 and I thought that they, as an opening band, put on a better show than headliner Blur. Of course, it didn’t hurt that I was fourteen years old at the time and I got to see Zia’s breasts. I bought their album that night and enjoyed it for a while, but never got into any of their other albums. I guess if I were Anton Newcombe I’d be pissed off at the film as well, it’s pretty obvious he’s not portrayed in the best light… But then we all have control over our actions and he’s done some questionable things with his life. I was actually supposed to interview him last year while I was in school and BJM played down in Philly but something fell through and I never got my interview. We traded e-mails briefly but he just never got around to answering any of my questions.

Then Z and Ian came over and we watched TV and Ian wanted to watch this totally crap free movie from the early 80′s with Matt Modine and Phoebe Cates. It was such a waste of time.

Today I spent a while writing, applying for a job here and there, and then I watched a movie. Now I’m going to go out for a good dinner and then we’ll see. I’ve got work early tomorrow morning. I hope spring comes soon, Seasonal Affectation Disorder is a bitch even during the mildest of winters.

I also purchased a domain for a new project I’m undertaking with some friends. More information on that as it is made available.
