Stars Fallin’ – No More World Wars

My stars, is it ever so beautiful outside! I’m going to fire this off quickly so I can romp around in the grass, pick up a tick, catch lyme disease and die! I had hoped to upload Jack’s third podcast for this update, but the file magically disappeared from my web server. I’ll have to add it to this entry later tonight.

*edit* Here is Episode Number 4 of Jack’s baby, “The Best Podcast You Have.” Shockingly, I contribute to a bunch of the music in this week’s episode. And all this time I thought I sucked! (I still suck).

Speaking of which…yesterday I finished up some work, worked myself into a state, and then sauntered (very fairy-like) into the studio, muscles relaxed and blood flowing freely, to record whatever came to mind. I suppose that’s a benefit of having all sorts of recording gear in my basement. So, as many of you know (because the only people who read this are my friends), I have a little project that I call Stars Fallin’, which is basically me creating weird soundscapes. I try not to edit anything because the hit-or-miss nature of the music is what makes it so much fun for me. Anyway, I recorded about fifty-two minutes of music, and then sized it down to thirty (cutting long silences or repetitive, boring noodling). I’m calling this cheesy little disc No More World Wars.
