Wonders Of The World – We’re Missing One

We have seven new modern wonders of the world, as voted on by something like 90 million people. The list includes the Great Wall of China, Petra in Jordan, the Taj Mahal in India, the Colosseum in Rome, Machu Picchu in Peru, The giant statue of Christ in Brazil, and Mexico’s Chichen Itza pyramid. Sadly, the Boeing factory wasn’t included on this list. I don’t know if any of you have ever seen or heard about the factory, but it encloses 472 million cubic feet of space, and it covers 98.3 acres. It might be the biggest enclosed space on the planet. I don’t know that for sure, but it sure seems like it should be. (Note: A quick Wikipedia search shows that it is the largest building in the world by volume).

Ah, a nice, long day in beautiful Santa Monica. Good food! Pretty girls! Ocean! What’s not to enjoy? I even got a new pair of sneakers, as I was made aware my current kicks (a pair of Pumas) were purchased in Boston back in 2001. Six years is a long time to wear the same pair of shoes, I guess…

Tomorrow I’ll be out all day again, and hopefully the Sunday Mix Tape will be aggregated on time for it to be made available on its proper day. If not, you’ll all just have to wait for next week. By the way, last week’s tape was the most successful ever compiled, as over 1,700 people stopped by to download tracks. Lucky for me nothing else on my server requires any bandwidth…
