SUNDAY MI– No, Wait…Nevermind

By Evan ~ December 31st, 2007. Filed under: world news.

There is no Sunday Mix Tape tonight because I posted 30 songs on Friday, and that should be enough to hold you rascals over for the next few days. Instead, I’m just going to link to some fun things from around the Internet.

I’ve only been working for two weeks (or 40 hours, according to my current time card), but that hasn’t stopped me from reading up on how to lose my job, thanks to the Internet. And, because the article was published in the Business section of the New York Times, I have no problem posting a link to it here and paraphrasing the contents for you. I’m not going to take their idea and run with it — without giving them any credit — because only assholes do that. Assholes like the New York Times, who stole my idea for a “Top Ten Deaths of 2007″ list. Whatever, I’m not bitter. This is only the second time I’ve mentioned it (in two days). So, the article mentions MySpace and blogs and junk. I don’t know, read it yourself. [story]

National Treasure was the number one movie for the second weekend in a row, further proving that Masons control the world. Ain’t that right, Podcast Jack?

Lastly, here’s a website that has ranks the ten best roller coasters on Earth. I tried watching four or five of them with Nicci and Phoebe and I felt my stomach churning the whole time. I’m still a little nauseous as I write this sentence. Thrill rides give me chills in all the wrong ways. [story]

Tonight I got home from work and made some vegan taquitos, then played Cranium with Leon, Nicci and Sari. The experience taught me that I’m much better at spelling words backwards and nerdy facts than I am at sculpting, drawing, or playing charades. Then I wrote this lousy blog entry!

Tomorrow is New Year’s Eve Day. I’m working an eight-hour shift, so you’ll have to (once again) wait until an unreasonable hour for a new update.
