Another Day Full Of Sick
By Evan ~ February 20th, 2008. Filed under: daily life.

Last night was rough. My fever rose to 102, I was shivering and completely flushed. I could barely sleep all night as I was dehydrated and alternately cold and hot. When I finally extricated myself from bed this morning, I felt so incredibly week that it was a struggle just to remain on my feet while urinating. Luckily, things have improved since then. My temperature as of this morning was 100.5, then 99.4, and at this very moment it is 99.9. I am somewhat worried about a potential spike tonight, as that normally happens with the flu. Isn’t this really just the most fascinating few days in the history of the blogosphere? You people come here expecting interesting new ideas and funny posts only to find some dumbass is detailing what it’s like to be stricken with a frustrating virus. By the way, I should take this moment to say that I didn’t try any of your potential remedies, because there’s no apple cider vinegar in this house, nor is there any Icy Hot. I had tea with honey this morning, and I’ve consumed a frightening amount of water, but I’m afraid that hasn’t helped too much. Although I feel okay in general, I’m certainly would not say that I am in good health.
So, that’s where I am. I don’t really have the mental fortitude to think of much else to write today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better than today as I travel along this road to recovery.
