some politicians in south la are trying to ban any new fast food restaurants from opening in a large chunk of the city, so they've conveniently written down a legal definition, just for you! a fast food restaurant has "a limited menu, items prepared in advance or prepared or heated quickly, no table orders, and food served in disposable wrapping or containers.Â” they hope this will attract more quality restaurants, like... soupplantation? i've never eaten there, but whenever i hear about soupplantation i can only think of this gridskipper list

I always associate “fast food” with the presence of a drive-thru window.

Urban Dictionary has this:

food that fat fuckers eat if they’re hungry and then sue the company because they’re poor and theyre total fatasses.

I like that one.
