It’s been seven months since we said goodbye to The Best Podcast You Have. On Monday May 7th, 2007 (my first full day in Los Angeles — coincidence?) Jack offered the final episode of his Circulations Amethyst series, entitled “The Night We Called It A Day.” Now, Podcast Jack has returned with his newest incarnation of his pet project (now with fancy website!).
The first episode is available as a video file on Jack’s website. It features some cool music and two brief images of yours truly. In fact, I open and close the video! The two shots of me are from a very drunk October night in New Jersey. I’m not sure what is so “blissful” about me, but I guess I’ll take it as a compliment. The rest of the video footage was filmed by Ken and Katie when they drove the Pacific Coast Highway during their last trip to California. They sure found some beautiful shots of sun dappled trees and rolling landscapes. The music (which was apparently recorded by Jack, Ken, Katie and Z) fits perfectly.

I didn´t know steven r. smith before and about his intention to name his song kohl.
for me as a german it´s a funny thing. it has this kind of lethargic destruction, which has always been called to be the character of helmut kohl. he has been chancellor in germany for 16 years and made the 80s and 90s a time of horror. boring and unbearable for many people living here, but they vote him again and again, nevermind their masochistic brains exploding.
