I was with Shindig 65 and was in Oklahoma with a group in 1966. this could have been me singing at the racetrack. thank you for your comments. My latest CD is out now. Am moving toward live entertainment once again. Have a 5 piece band now out of Las Vegas. Wish me luck. Anna Black

I keep wondering if this is the gal I saw performing at a race track in Oklahoma in 1966. She was givin a great intro, and took over. It was quite something for a nyc boy.

Yes! Thanks for this wonderful bit of insight into this startling album. I came across it at the Everybody's Records store in Bellingham, WA. today, a DJ promo copy, white label with no songwriting credits, though Larry Knechtel is credited as "arranger" for a couple of the songs. I was struck ~ oops, I put on Side 2 first ~ and Anna's "Eleanor Rigby" totally and immediately grabbed my attention (much as stated by the author/interviewer here).
Thank you again, and much love and good luck to the future pursuits of this gifted and unique artist.
