Amadeus was a good movie… I was cheering for Salieri from minute one, though. Good insights on the composers–most of them were just effeminate idiots.

Although I’m inclined to agree with the guy above who called the piece “absolute bollocks” and you a “twat,” first thing that leaped to mind for me was “what a steamin’ bowl full of egoic puke!” On further reflection I reasoned that this was possibly the point. You’d have to agree, though, to go wanking all over these high brow institutions like this kind of begs the response, doesn’t it? On the other hand, I agree with you on Lizst and Strauss–toss in all the Strausses (Richard), for that matter. (A fellow composer once referred to R.S.’s work as “sentimental sewage.” Brilliant, huh?)
