Dick - VALIS (his best novel). Curzio Malaparte - Kaputt (weird and very haunting world war two novel). And all short stories by Steven Millhauser, my most recent fad. No lesbianism in any of these, I'm afraid. Though respectively: lots of sausages, a dead cat, frozen horses and lots of disappearing people.
