i think walt would be to tall to stand up in the sub so it probably is not waaaalt..unless in order to beat the smoke monster he needs someone to play good basketball.

We have no evidence that Jacob ever touched Christian, and his body wasn’t on the island while Widmore was still there. I agree that his physical body may be something of importance yet revealed, but I doubt its on the sub.

I also thought of Walt, but a double lock? I dont think Walt would resist returning to the island to that degree. I think Desmond is more likely, since Widmore would have to drag him kicking and screaming back to the island. Same logic for Aaron – I doubt they’d have to keep an infant under lock and key.

i dont think sawyer and kate between the both of them could even navigate a sailboat across a half mile lake. there is no way sawyer and kate or sawyer alone could pilot that sub.. so i really do not know why he isnt taking a side with either widmore or the smoke monster.. but for now if old smokey wins the battle at least sawyer might have someone to pilot the sub other than him..

i say it is aaron (and perhaps even christian) locked in the sub. and i say sawyer and kate will commandere the sub and be ready to leave when kate somehow discovers aaron and then, of course, insists that they have to stay to get aaron back to claire. aaron could play some role in dethroning MIB and christian could play some role in jack inheriting jacob’s duties.

but christians coffin was on the plane when it crashed years after widmore left the island . are you saying that widmore gained access to jacks fathers body after it was transported to the past ? a good theory about the person or thing locked in the cabin would be desmond. he would be a good weapon against the smoke monster because desmond has the ability to see the future.. desmond does not seem to be affected by timelines. faraday said desmond was special. was on the plane in the alternate reality . desmond still has something to prove to widmore.desmond would love a chance to get back at ben..
