I was thinking about driving to San Diego on Wednesday to see the Mets game, but if they’re going to suck shit and lose 18-6 again I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Does anybody reading this page live in San Diego? Want to grab a drink? No? Fuck you! I didn’t want to drink with you anyway!
Hello, I’m Evan. You might remember me from such blogs as…the one you’re reading right now!
Did you enjoy your Memorial Day holiday? I didn’t. I had to work all day. To make matters worse, I went to the supermarket early this morning to pick up something for lunch and I had to suffer through the store’s employees stocking excess beer because everyone in the neighborhood was probably grilling and drinking and reveling together today. I was stuck indoors. It was dreadful. No hotdogs, no hamburgers, no cold beers…just the cold stares of creepy passersby and the stink of unbathed record collectors. It was like a mini Holocaust, only nobody died and I was fed free Thai food. In other words, it wasn’t much like the Holocaust at all. It was just another annoying day at work where I spent the majority of my shift wondering what all my friends were doing on their day off.
As punishment for being one of the few Americans who had to go to work today, I’m not going to post a new blog entry. I’ll share an MP3 for you, but consider this whole post to be written under protest. I’ll write something new tomorrow.
By the way, you know how I wrote about April 2010 being the worst month on record for Swan Fungus? Well, May 2010 was the fourth best month ever. That’s a pretty rapid turnaround. Thanks to all 33,000 of you. I couldn’t have done it without 29,000 of you (the other 4,000 was me clicking the refresh button).
