Some time in the mid-’90s the No-Neck Blues Band pressed a super-limited series of 8″ lathe-cut records. Each one was made in an edition of 50 copies or less. A lot of them included hand-drawn artwork by band members that was pasted to slabs of wood measuring 8″x8″. All of the information such as titles and catalog numbers were hand-written. For a while they were demanding huge sums of money on eBay, but I haven’t seen any available for a while. I guess everyone who wanted a copy got theirs. It’s not like there were many to go around. They were technically released on the band’s own label, Sound @ One. I don’t know if any other website has offered all of the recordings for download as a set before, so here goes nothin’…
For organizational purposes I’ve titled the “album” these tracks belong to as 8″ lathes, but the actual releases are as follows:
“Blood” / “Vapor” ; “Cum” / “Thinner” ; “Death” (A) / “Death” (B) ; “Ink” / “Sweat” ; “Oil” / “Piss”
