City To City, Town To Town
Do you follow Swan Fungus on Instagram? You should. Why? Because when I leave town for much needed rest and relaxation you can follow my every step. Maybe not every step, but enough to predict what I will be writing about in the near future…or what I’m drinking right now.
That said, I’ve been traveling for the past week or so between LA, Utah, Denver, and Vegas. Pictures and stories are pending. Until I get everything sorted though, you’ll have to settle for a rapidly constructed mix tape filled mostly with music from recent releases. It’s not the most new music I can share, but it relatively new. I know the new Khemmis record is sitting outside my front door waiting for me at home. Hopefully not melted. So…you can’t hear any of that yet. Hopefully it’s as good as the last one. Khemmis played in Denver the other night (sponsored by TRVE Brewing, more on them to come…) but I couldn’t make it to the show. I was seeing a Grateful Dead cover band at a Grateful Dead bar in Denver. Yeah… I’ll have to catch them some other time.
Your non-Khemmis mix tape:
01. Grumbling Fur – Molten Familiar
02. Pallbearer – Love You To Death [Type O Negative]
03. Loscil – Monument Builders
04. Marissa Nadler – High On The Road
05. Alcest – Untouched
06. The Verve – A Northern Soul
07. Library Tapes – Drugs
08. Goat – Trouble In The Streets
09. Roy Montgomery – Otherness
10. Oathbreaker – Immortals
11. Mono – The Last Scene
