August 9 - August 10, 2005 Billings

Montana and Wyoming were two of the most incredible, scenic places I was afforded the chance to drive through. Here are some of the pictures from my drive between Missoula and Billings, with commentary only where neccessary.
This is somewhere along I-90.

I wish I remembered the names of some of these small towns. Each one was wholly unique and fascinating to visit, even if I was only driving through. The people were friendly wherever I stopped for food or fuel.

I continuously ran into the Clark Fork River.

I knew I was in the heart of Big Sky country, but I was still waiting for that first chance to see 360 degrees of horizon.
Big Sky
And it was like this all the way to Billings.
